Who Should Attend Your Management Review Meeting?
Who should be attending your MRM and how often?
What is an MRM?
A Management Review Meeting (MRM) is an essential part of your management system, helping to keep the management team up to date on any changes, activities and opportunities for improvement.
Who should attend an MRM?
- Anyone directly involved in the management system
- Managers
- Directors
How often should they attend?
This really depends on how frequently you hold them. Directors must be included in the meeting at least annually, to display leadership commitment. However, if you hold your MRMs quarterly then consider if all Directors need to attend every MRM. To decide this, we recommend taking a look at your agenda. You must discuss all of the points at some point during the year, however, you do not need to go through each point every time. Therefore, think about what agenda items you will be covering at each meeting, and then invite anyone who is relevant to those discussion points.
